Greg, Kristen, Kim and I hit up Tangeirino on Saturday night, and we had a fantastic time. The food was outstanding, especially the Sultan's Kadra (filet of lamb). The atomsphere was truly unique and authentic, complete with bellydancers, houka pipes, and a hand-washing ceremony. We think its a great place for a small group to get together and have a fun time in a comfortable setting, topped off by fantastic food and excellent service.

We went to Clio in Back Bay last night for our Valentine's Day dinner. We were very impressed by our meals, the food was first rate. However, the whole experience left something to be desired, as we found the selection to be lacking, the menu to be overpriced, and the service simply adequate. Additionally, the desserts were below par for a first class eatery. However, like we mentioned - our appetizers and entrees were scrumptiously inventive. We recommend the Maine Lobster and the Organic Chicken.

I snuck over to the Beacon Hill Bistro for lunch today, I really enjoyed it. I sat at the bar and tried some hot French Onion Soup and a cool Grilled Chicken with Gouda and Red Peppers Sandwich entree. I also had some of the fries, which were cut really thin and served crispy, just how I like 'em. The BHB is a great lunch spot, as its just a short walk from Back Bay, Downtown, and anywhere in Beacon Hill. It wasn't too crowded or expensive, and the service was good. Its worth a try.
