Getting away from Boston for Memorial Day weekend, Kim and I headed out to Chicago. On Saturday night, we had a wonderful dinner at the Signature Room on the 95th floor of the John Hancock Observatory. I give the overall experience an A+. I stated with a Garlic Shrimp appetizer, and moved on to the Surf and Turf, which included a Lobster Tail and a Filet Mignon over Asparagus. I finished the meal off with a Peanut Butter and Chocolate Parfait. The food was prepared perfectly and seasoned sensationally. The view was outstanding, overlooking Lake Michigan and downtown Chicago. Service was top notch, and the price wasn't over the top. We also managed to see three couples get engaged during our two hour visit. Afterwards, we hit up the 96th floor lounge and caught some fireworks. Overall, it was a great night.

I went to a Pearl Jam concert at the TD Banknorth Garden last night. I just have to say that for some reason, I really love the chicken fingers at the Garden. I get them ever time and I'm never disappointed. Before the game, we hit up Anthem, where we found a chilled-out basement room away from the crowds, but still had to wait about fifteen minutes for each drink.
