Friday night brought us to Aquitiane Bis, the sister restaurant to South End's highly regarded Aquitiane. The food was just as good, if not better, than the original, served up in a boistrous and authentic bistro setting. Service was excellent, the price was reasonable, and parking was easy. We'll definitely be heading back.

We returned to our favorite restaurant, L'Espalier, to celebrate Christmas this weekend. It was excellent as always. The Field Greens Salad was interesteing and tasty, the Lobster with Prosciutto appetizer was sublime, and the Organic Roasted Chicken course was also phenomenal. To top it off, service was first-rate, as usual.

We grabbed a meal at The Stockyard last night. Unfortunately we weren't that impressed. The service was a little on the unfriendly side. The appetizers were really good, but the Grilled Chicken Salad was average and the BBQ Ribs were just way too fatty. We'll probably go back, but when we do we'll stick to what they do best, the steaks.

Friday night we tried to get over to Giacomo's early before catching a Celtics game. We waited in line for about 40 minutes, but when seated we were treated with some great no frills Italian cuisine and a unique homey-style atmosphere. We were probably in and out in less then forty minutes, but all in lal we enjoyed our visit, especially when the price tage was that cheap.

Sorellina is one of the hottest restaurants in the city right now, and thus its tough to get reservations. And we found out why. The food was outstanding, the wine list impressive, and the service was superb. We also enjoyed the modern yet simple ambiance. Sorellina offers Italian fare from its prime location in Copley Square, and is the sister restaurant to the popular Mistral. We highly recommend, just make sure to make reservations early (at least a week in advance).
